LONGVIEW — The Longview Economic Development Corporation has launched a new career guide website geared toward students. Officials say http://www.LongviewWorks.com aims to help students, their parents, grandparents, teachers, and guidance counselors understand the variety of options for careers in Longview that do not necessarily require a four-year college degree. The students at a Sabine High School career day last week were the first to preview the new website. It offers career information including a description, the salary, job duties, educational requirements, and where students can get the required education locally.
