The Longview Lobos are hard to beat at home but they're impossible to beat at Kincaide Stadium in Dallas.
The Green Guys have never lost there.
Longview has won all seven of its games at this stadium in South Dallas and six of them have been wins in playoff games.
Call it a home away from home home-field advantage.
Kincaide Stadium has become Lobo Stadium West.
Longview has beaten Belton there along with South Garland, Waco Midway, Waxahachie, Denton Guyer, Lancaster and Dallas Carter.
In the four years the Lobos have been traveling to this stadium on Interstate 20 in Dallas, Longview has never lost.
How huge is Longview's dominance there?
Last year, Mesquite Horn refused to play Longview there even though Kincaide Stadium is just 19 miles from Mesquite Horn High School.
It would have been a playoff game in Horn's back yard but the Horn Jaguars refused to play Longview there because of the Lobos' success there.
So Longview played Horn in Louisiana.
The Texas High School playoff game was played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport because the Horn coach refused to play Longview at Kincaide Stadium.
John King feels right at home in John Kincaide Stadium.
The coach of the Lobos has a perfect record there and he'll look to keep bringing Longview back as much as he can.
Saturday at 2:00 the Green Machine will play at Kincaide Stadium again in the second round of the state playoffs.
Kincaide Stadium has become Lobo Land.
