Longview, TX — A Longview man was arrested Wednesday after a child told police she was sexually assaulted.

Leelliot Deniro Johnson, 31, was arrested around 6 p.m. in the 300 block of West Cotton Street by Longview police, and bond was set at $100,000.

Johnson is charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a girl younger than 14 years old.

According to the court complaint filed by Assistant District Attorney Jenny Huckle, on May 20, the victim told police in a forensic interview at the Children’s Advocacy Center that she was sexually assaulted on May 7 by Johnson.
