A former East Texas Baptist University professor pleaded guilty today to child pornography charges in Tyler federal court.

Kelly Brian Quinn, 44, of Longview, was charged with possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors. Quinn faces up to 10 years in federal prison. A sentencing date has not been set.

Quinn's personal computer at his Longview home was seized, according to information provided by the court. The computer contained 14 videos and about 1,600 images of child pornography, according to the court. Some of the images were minors under 12 years old engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
