Longview authorities have released the names of the people involved in a major accident involving a sanitation truck.

According to the Longview Police Department, at 3:01 p.m., Susan Skinner, 46, of Longview, drove her car into the back of the truck with two workers standing in between the vehicles. Darron Craig, 46, of Longview, was thrown from a few feet from the truck when the accident occurred. The jaws of life had to be used to remove Dennis Montgomery, 33, of Longview, from in between the vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, located on the eastbound lane of Alpine Road, and took both men to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the sanitation truck, Laronn Wollridge, 20, was not injured. Skinner was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.   

The investigation into the cause of this accident continues and intoxication is believed to be a factor.
