LONGVIEW — Longview police are investigating the death of a 10-year-old J.L. Everhart student who died Wednesday evening in an area hospital.

Jamaal Jones, of Longview was pronounced dead at about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday at Good Shepherd Medical Center after being transported from his grandmother's home in the 200 block of Harvard Ave., Justice of the Peace B.H. Jameson said.
