Longview residents concerned over creek

LONGVIEW - Some south Longview residents are concerned over a creek that runs through their neighborhood.
The city, with the help of those residents, are looking to find a solution to prevent a future flood.
The Iron Bridge Creek flows through numerous neighborhoods in the southern part of town and in some cases even under houses.
The city of Longview held a town meeting with residents last night to discuss options for the creek and to get public input.
The city presented three options ranging from $1.2 million to repair the creek, to more than 15 million dollars to buy the homes that surround the creek.
No decision has been made and still no word on when it will be discussed again.
