Longview seeks to make streets more pedestrian friendly
Longview — Three major Longview thoroughfares could be upgraded to help encourage walking in the city.
The Longview City Council is set to vote Thursday on hiring a consultant to make walking more convenient along Cotton and Fourth streets and Mobberly Avenue.
Assistant City Manager Chuck Ewings said the plan would serve riders on Longview’s transit system.
