Each Fall And Spring the City of Longview hosts a Trash Bash. Citizens, organizations and churches are encouraged to volunteer and help to clean up litter in their areas. Volunteers can meet early at the library, 300 W. Cotton, to aquire trash bags, gloves, safety vests and other equipment, as well as get snacks and water.

The Spring Trash Bash takes place on the second Saturday of April. This year will be Saturday, April 13 from 9am - 12pm. Electronics Recycling and Tire Recycling will also be available during the same time at City Hall, 300 W. Cotton. For more information call 903-237-1270 or check the Spring Trash Bash Brochure.

The Fall Trash Bash is held in conjunction with Longview Recycles Day and takes place on the second Saturday of November. This year will be Saturday, November 9 from 9am - 12pm. Recycling Services will be provided at the Longview Mall. Check back for more details
