Longview — Longview City Council members will be asked to weigh at least three locations for a new animal shelter after a task force wrapped up its 90-day mission Wednesday without settling on a site.

“(We’ll) say, we are asking the City Council to select the best location,” said Save the Animals Task Force member Kristen Ishihara in proposing the wording for a letter the council will begin discussing at its Jan. 10 session.
