Longview, TX — Public transportaiton services around the national will be holding the 7th annual "Dump the Pump" day on Thursday June 21.

In 2006 with gas prices rising, "Dump the Pump" became a day to raise awareness about public transportation and the options it offers to citizens.

Longview Transit will participate for the first time in "Dump the Pump" day and will offer free rides during their operating hours.
