Lufkin council eyeing water rate increase

Plans to keep tax rate the same
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; When Lufkin's city council meets for their regular session Wednesday afternoon, they'll also have a work session.
In that session, according to City Manager: Paul Parker, the council also will review the entire city budget including; solid waste and the current tax rate.
Parker tells the Daily News; council will consider a hike in water rates. The meeting is scheduled for today at five at City Hall.
