Lufkin, TX — Longtime defensive coordinator Todd Quick has been named Lufkin's interim athletic director, LISD superintendent Roy Knight announced Monday morning.

Quick has served as the Panthers' defensive coordinator since John Outlaw's arrival to the school 17 years ago. He had worked with Lufkin head coach John Outlaw at his three stops since 1985.

"We're naming Todd Quick interim athletic director," Knight said Monday morning, the first day Lufkin ISD was back in session following the Christmas holidays.
