Lufkin, TX —
A Lufkin man is being held in the Angelina County Jail on a $375,000 bond after being arrested Friday on charges of molesting a 9-year-old girl.

Juan Homero Hernandez, 38, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact and one count of indecency with a child by exposure.

According to an arrest affidavit, the girl, now 10, made an outcry to her principal and counselor the first week of April, telling them she had been molested. The school then contacted her mother. After hearing her daughter’s accusation, the mother filed a report with Lufkin Police.
