Lufkin, Texas — After admitting to assaulting nine other people, including three children, a 26-year-old Lufkin man sentenced previously to 10 years probation is now set to serve 10 years in prison.
Last August, Telesforo Vasquez III was sentenced to 10 years probation on a charge of injury to an elderly for an incident in which, while he was working as a nursing home aide, he exposed himself to a 91-year-old nursing home resident and tried to make her touch him. When the woman refused, he reportedly pushed her down, injuring her.
In his initial Angelina County probation intake last fall, a sexual history was done on Vasquez in which he did not disclose any other victims. The admission of additional victims was made during a lie detector test, according to Vasquez’s probation officer, Lisa Page.
