Lufkin pastor indicted for sexual assault of child
Lufkin, Texas — A Lufkin man has been indicted by a Shelby County grand jury on four counts of sexual crimes against a child.
Richard Adams is charged with three second-degree felony counts of indecency with a child and one first-degree felony count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to the indictment. The first offense dates to 2005, when Adams allegedly began touching the boy, according to the indictment. In 2006, he allegedly forced the boy to perform a sexual act on him, the indictment stated.
