Police are looking for a man who stole an iPhone from a Lufkin convenience store.

It happened about 3:30 am on January 12th at a convenience store on South Medford Dr. in Lufkin.

The store's security cameras captured video of a man taking an Apple iPhone 4 from the cash register.

A delivery driver making his morning delivery had mistakenly left the cellphone on the cash registers counter.

The thief is a tall, black male, who was wearing a red, long sleeved shirt, black pants, white tennis shoes and a black and red baseball cap at the time of the theft.

He has tattoos on his right arm, and wore earrings and a white wrist watch.

The man arrived at the convenience store in a small, white car, possibly a Dodge Neon, and left the store in the same vehicle.

You can view portions of the store's security videos above, which show the man in the store and stealing the telephone.
