Consumers can save about 8 bucks for every 100 dollars spent
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; local retailers are gearing-up for this weekend's tax free holiday.
The weekend is a big help to busy parents dealing with buying all those back to school items in a less than healthy economy.
The tax-free deal means shoppers can save about 8 bucks on every one hundred dollars spent.

The IRS will allow a taxpayer to either negotiate a tax settlement for less than the total amount owed or come to an agreement on another method for the IRS to collect taxes owed over time.
