Lufkin traffic stop ends in meth arrests of 3

Lufkin ,Tx — Three Angelina County men were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine Tuesday afternoon following a Texas Department of Public Safety traffic stop on U.S. Highway 69 south.
Around 4 p.m. Tuesday DPS Trooper Rodney Tucker initiated a traffic stop on a red Dodge pickup driven by Chad Lauderdale, 28, of Lufkin, according to DPS spokesman Trooper Bryan Hendry. After noticing suspicious/nervous behavior from Lauderdale and his passengers, Brian Sterling, 17, and Oral Sterling, 54, both of Pollok, Tucker asked for consent to search the vehicle, Hendry said.
