Lufkin water system could receive more money
June 27, 2009 - 6:14pm
LUFKIN-Lufkin's water system could get an additional $400,000 to use toward developing the AbitibiBowater purchase if approved by the Senate, according to a recent press release.
The report states that earlier this year the city got almost $500,000 in funding as part of a federal bill.
A decision could be made on the fate of Lufkin's additional water funding next month.
