Lufkin — A Lufkin woman is accused of stealing more than $33,000 from her employer, Southwood Animal Clinic.

Sheila McDonald, 36, was taken into custody yesterday on a warrant.

Reports show McDonald had stolen money from the clinic dating back to July of 2009.

The alleged thief was booked into the Angelina County Jail on $6,000 bond. She has since bonded out.
