Lufkin woman is arrested for failing to have car insurance, possession of dangerous drugs

Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — A Lufkin woman is arrested and charged with failure to maintain financial responsibility and dangerous drug charges.
It happened late Friday morning at 11:52 a.m. in the 800 block of south First Street in Lufkin.
Regina Havard, 31, had gotten into a wreck and was arrested for a no insurance violation.
Upon further investigation, officers found methamphetamines along with several different types of pills.
Havard was booked into Angelina County Jail and charged with failure to maintain financial responsibility, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of more than one gram of a controlled substance.
Her bond is set at $4,000.
