Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — Lufkin police responded to a call Saturday morning from a woman reporting that her boyfriend had locked her in a closet and threatened her with a knife.
She told officers, she left for work Friday and when she returned home her boyfriend seemed to be under the influence and wasn't acting like himself. The boyfriend reportedly slapped her face twice, pushed her and hit her it the back of the head. He then held a knife to her face and told her he was going to kill her. He then locked her in a closet.
According to the report she gave authorities, he let her out after several hours, pushed her onto the bed and said he would kill her if she didn't go to sleep. When she woke up the next morning he was gone. She then called police.
Police are not releasing the woman's name due to safety concerns.
