WISHES DO COME TRUE!

A very special Make-A-Wish child, Chandler, age 17, had her wish come true with an upcoming trip to New York City and exclusive VIP treatment at Macy's Broadway Square.

Despite her battle with leukemia, Chandler always dreamed of visiting "The Big Apple" at Christmas time.

Friday, Macy's and Make-A-Wish Foundation® announced they will make her wish come true in celebration of National Believe Day. At Macy's, Chandler received the announcement that she will be swept away to New York City on December 16 to see the beauty of NYC at Christmas time. To add to this special day, Chandler will also receive exclusive VIP treatment at the Macy's cosmetic counter to make her feel like the princess she is.

For the second straight year, Macy's has declared December 10 as National Believe Day.

To commemorate the day this year, Macy's and the Make-A-Wish Foundation® granted "Wishes Across America" to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Macy's also hosted a "Double Donation Day" for letters mailed in Macy's Santa Mail Letterboxes on December 10.

For all letters mailed in Macy's Santa Mail Letterboxes on Friday, December 10th, Macy's will give an extra $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This is in addition to the up to $1 million already committed for every letter dropped off in store through December 24th!
