Man arrested on third assault charge within week’s span

Police arrested a Hallsville man Thursday, charging him with a third sexual assault of a child offense in a week’s span, according to police reports.

James Wesley Pierce, 44, was arrested Thursday on charges of sexually assaulting a child younger than age 17, according to police reports. He also was arrested last Friday on the charges of sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child.

They may have arrested him on the first two charges and he posted bond before they added the third charge. May have all been the same event. But there is no good reporting these days. Anything to make headlines is the new fad.

Why is this man walking on the outside of the jail walls? He should have been held after the first assault. If not,the 2nd should have put an end to his freedom in society. He's been arrested for a 3rd time... did they let him walk again? Who's making the decision to let him walk? Maybe this needs to be investigated! Are there extenuating circumstances we need more info about? Should the judge have his/her head examined?
