LAREDO, Texas (AP) - Authorities say a father wanted in
Minnesota on child indecency charges is in a Texas jail after being
caught trying to flee to Mexico.
Laredo police spokesman Joe Baeza said Thursday that Luis Valle
would likely be extradited back to Minnesota after being arrested
at a bus station near the border.
Baeza says Valle was wanted on suspicion of criminal sexual
conduct. He says Laredo police found Valle with his 10-year-old
daughter only hours after getting an alert from Minnesota
authorities.
A criminal complaint in Minnesota accuses Valle of
inappropriately touching a girl during a sleepover at his South St.
Paul home last summer.
It was not immediately clear if Valle had an attorney.
