A Houston man was arrested in Galveston after his dog died from allegedly being left in a hot car.

At around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, officers tell KETK, they found the owner, 23-year-old Bill Omer, holding his dead pet. Investigators believe the pit bull had been left in the car for possibly an hour and a half.

A necropsy will be performed to determine the official cause of death, but it is believed to be caused by heat exhaustion.

Omer is charged with cruelty to a non livestock animal and his bond is set at $15,000.

He was probably drunk, but still no excuse!

Obviously, Omar doesn't have the common sense to realize that causing the death of an innocent life is wrong. Clearly, he has no remorse. Apparently, Omar is very proud of what he has accomplished giving the "thumbs up". Omar is vile and violent. Again, I will reiterate we can thank his parents, family, friends, teachers and preacher for what they did not teach Omar, a fundamental human character...compassion. I hope they are all ashamed.

He seems awful proud of himself

If it had been his kid, he would not have even arrested!

That is a stupid, irresponsible statement! Animal's are God's creature's & this psychopath is going to burn in the fire's of hell! Grow up! This psychopath needs to be taped & locked in a hot car till he crokes!

just cruel and evil
