Victim was a known gang member

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; A man was shot to death Monday night just after he left a neighborhood convenience store in northeast Houston, police said.

The 48-year-old man was shot shortly after 8 p.m. outside a store on Hailey at Lee. He died at the scene.
