Man from Nacogdoches area now one of Texas' Most Wanted
EAST TEXAS — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), in partnership with the Office of the Governor, Texas Crime Stoppers program, maintains the Texas 10 Most Wanted list. The list contains select fugitives and wanted sex offenders believed to pose the most significant threat to public safety in the state.
Citizens who provide Texas Crime Stoppers information leading to the arrest of one of the profiled fugitives or sex offenders can earn a reward in the amount designated for that person.
On September 27, DPS added Jimmy Ray McMillan Jr. to the Most Wanted Sex Offender List. McMillan is a 41-year-old white male who, according to his sex offender registration and arrest records, is five feet ten inches tall and weighs one-hundred fifty-five pounds. On his right arm, he has a tattoo of the letters "TEX" and, on his left arm, he has a tattoo of the letters "J+V". He has had previous employment in construction and roofing jobs and with carnivals.
In 1988, McMillan twice sexually assaulted a nine-year-old female. He was arrested June 29, 1990 and was paroled in 1994. In June 2011, McMillan made arrangements, as a registered sex offender, to relocate from Nacogdoches to Fort Worth, but did not complete the move.
As of October 01, 2012, Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to McMillan`s capture.
