TYLER - Tyler Investigators have obtained arrest warrants on two suspects involved in the shooting and assault on Markeeth Williams that occurred at Club Skyy, on February 8, 2010.

Tyler police are looking for Joseph Dewayne Williams, B/M, 09/01/1984, for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Gerald Wayne McGee, B/M, 05/05/1983, for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

***NEWS RELEASE***

TYLER - On February 8, 2010 at approximately 0013 hours Tyler Police officers responded to the Club Skyy night club, located at 3159 Pointe North Road, in Tyler, Texas, in reference to a shooting.

Upon arriving at the night club officers learned that a Markeeth Williams, 27, from Tyler had been shot at this location and that his family members had transported him to the East Texas Medical Center emergency room for treatment. Moments later, officers located Markeeth Williams and his family in a vehicle in the 1100 block of West Gentry Parkway.

EMS personnel were called to this location where he was immediately transported to the East Texas Medical Center hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

While conducting their initial investigation officers learned that the suspect was a black male in his late twenties and that he had fled the scene before officer's arrival. Tyler Police investigators were notified and responded to the scene.

Presently, no arrests have been made, but the case remains under investigation.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case, or any, felony case.
