FBI's bank robbery task force is checking surveillance tape

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; a man apparently tried to disguise himself as a woman when he held up a bank Wednesday inside a northwest Harris County supermarket, authorities said.

The man was in a wig and dress about 2:30 p.m. when he passed a note demanding cash to a teller at the First Convenience Bank branch inside a Kroger store on North Eldridge Parkway.
