Gladewater Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Tuesday morning.

Police tell KETK, that around 1:35 am, a white 2000 ford flatbed welding truck driven by 41 year old Bradley Naismith, was traveling southbound in the 400 block of North Main St. / Hwy 271.

Naismith wasn't able to handle a curve, and ran off the roadway, hitting two power poles at Allison St. and North Main.

His vehicle continued south, sideswiping a brick retaining wall at Croley Funeral Home before finally stopping at Gregg St. and N. Main St.

Naismith died before officers arrived on scene.

He was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was observed in the vehicle but it is unknown at this time if alcohol contributed to the crash.

The incident is still under investigation.
