Man killed in early morning accident in Gladewater
GLADEWATER — Gladewater Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Tuesday morning.
Police tell KETK, that around 1:35 am, a white 2000 ford flatbed welding truck driven by 41 year old Bradley Naismith, was traveling southbound in the 400 block of North Main St. / Hwy 271.
Naismith wasn't able to handle a curve, and ran off the roadway, hitting two power poles at Allison St. and North Main.
His vehicle continued south, sideswiping a brick retaining wall at Croley Funeral Home before finally stopping at Gregg St. and N. Main St.
Naismith died before officers arrived on scene.
He was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was observed in the vehicle but it is unknown at this time if alcohol contributed to the crash.
The incident is still under investigation.
