Texas — A burglary suspect apparently slipped away from police after he barricaded himself inside a home in southeast Houston Wednesday night, authorities said.

The man inside the house in the 6800 block of Kingsway was wanted on felony burglary warrants. He refused to come out when police arrived about 10 p.m. to make the arrest, Houston police officials said.
