From the Nacogdoches Police Department:
NACOGDOCHES - Police are on the lookout today for a man they say posed as one of their own. Officers say a man was driving along Largent Tuesday, when he noticed a car with flashing red and blue lights pull up behind him.
Thinking it was an officer, he pulled over. But police say the man that confronted him was not an officer. Instead, it was a man complaining that the first driver had pulled out in front of him. No one was hurt in the incident, and the man posing as a cop has not yet been identified.

The question in my mind is was the man guilty of a traffic violation. If so, why is he not in jail where he belongs or cited? "Um Detective I was speeding when someone pulled me over... Nevermind I was breaking the law; this is an outrage!"
Santa, dont take this wrong, but did you NOT notice that it WASNT EVEN A COP that was flashing the blue & red?
I personally think the whole article was lacking in information(shame on whomever wrote it).
AND,I also think that whomever IS driving around impersonating a police car needs to be found. What if it is some nut case and they do this again, but with more "serious" intentions!
I've been watching this news station and I havent seen anything on this report, warning area residents.
This is why i told my daughter NOT to pull over if she was in a "desolate area" such as Mud creek bottom, and a "police" car flashed lights etc.. to try to get her to pull over. I was given a phone number from a local lawman for my daughter to put in her cell phone and that she could call it to confirm it was a legitimate policeman.
This was 4 years ago when she became a new driver, so i dont know if that same phone number still applies. Maybe the news should inform us of that.
