A Tyler man is behind bars on Wednesday after allegedly stealing guns from a house on the 700 block of Chimney Rock in Tyler just before 1:30 p.m.

The homeowner told police that when he arrived home, he found his TV was missing in addition to three guns.

The homeowner had looked out a window and noticed a man running away from his backyard carrying a TV.

Police searched the area for the thief. While police searched, the suspected thief entered into another house uninvited on Fallmeadow Dr. and told an elderly woman in the house that he needed a drink of water.

The woman was able to get out of the house and notify police that the man had entered her home.

Shortly later, police located a man matching the description and took him into custody on Cedar Creek Dr. The suspect was identified as Aundral Beal, 48, of Tyler.

Beal was charged with Burglary of a Habitation and was transported to the Smith County Jail.

Police located the stolen TV and are still searching for the weapons that were stolen.

With the Castle Doctrine that old lady could have ended this and sent him to the Prison of No Parole (that is the morgue.) Sure would have saved the taxpayers alot of money!

So the lesson folks is, in these Obamanomic times protect yourself and watch out. Criminals can strike anytime.
