Tyler Police Department officials have confirmed Kenneth Hunter has been caught.

The suspect in the incident described below is identified as Kenneth Hunter, B/M, DOB (5/10/1979), of Tyler. Hunter is currently wanted on a Blue Warrant issued by the State of Texas for Revocation of Probation Violation. The Tyler Police Department will be seeking additional arrest warrants for the incident that occurred on January 31, involving his child and the child’s mother. Tyler Investigators have been unable to locate Hunter at this time. If you have any information on his whereabouts please contact the Tyler Police Department or CRIMESTOPPERS.

On January 31 at 8:30 pm officers responded to a disturbance 2924 Barnes Street. A 3 week old baby was injured when the father threw the child at the mother after an altercation between the two and the father’s sister. The child struck the ground and received injury to the head. The mother returned home and called police.

The suspect a B/M, 40, also pointed a firearm at the B/F 23, mother.

The suspect fled the scene.

The baby was transported by EMS to Mother Francis Hospital. He had swelling to the middle of the forehead. More test were pending, and the child was admitted to the hospital.
