Nacogdoches, TX — A man was arrested for impersonating a Drug Enforcement Administration agent at the Nacogdoches County Jail.
Ford Truitt Cummings, 32, of Nacogdoches, went to the jail visitation room a little before midnight Tuesday, identified himself as a DEA agent and told the jail staff he needed an inmate released, according to a sheriff’s report.
He was also carrying a Kimber pistol in an area where it is unlawful to carry weapons.
