Smith County — Smith County sheriff deputies are currently searching for a white male in a wooded area near the intersection of County Road 385 and County Road 387.

Authorities are using a K-9 unit to assist with the manhunt and have towed his  car.

It's unclear at this time why the man is running from law enforcement.

While KETK was on scene, off-duty authorities arrived to help, but were unsure of the situation at hand.
