Kilgore — A rash of mannequin burglaries have been reported in downtown Kilgore.

Officials say a mannequin was stolen from the Kilgore Historical Preservation Society office on the 100 block of Kilgore Street.

The burglar appear to have smashed the display window with a small 7.5 pound barbell weight.

A similar crime took place on May 7 at the Crystal Spur across the street.
