Marshall teen dies after car hits fence, house

Marshall, TX (Longview News-Journal) — A Marshall teen died Sunday from injuries he suffered in a wreck Saturday in Harrison County, according to officials with the Department of Public Safety.
Christopher C. Willis, 18, was riding in a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria driven by 27-year-old Delton Lane at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday when the car, traveling northbound on FM 1997, left the roadway, hitting a fence and a house.
Willis was pronounced dead Sunday by Gregg County Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Arthur Fort at Good Shepherd Medical Center.
Lane, also of Marshall, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
