Coleman sets his sights on revising Texas’ “Castle Doctrine”

The Houston Chronicle is reporting; State Rep. Garnet Coleman plans to introduce a bill to change the “shoot first” aspects in the Texas law.

“All it takes is a tragedy for people to understand that something needs to be changed,” Coleman says. “And I don’t think any legislator in this state wants to be perceived as allowing somebody the ability to shoot someone without good cause.”
