Houston quarterback Matt Schaub is out indefinitely with a "significant" right foot injury and will miss the Texans' next game in two weeks.

The Texans (7-3) have a bye week. Kubiak says Matt Leinart will start the Texans' next game, at Jacksonville on Nov. 27.

Schaub has started every game since the start of the 2009 season. He was acquired by the Texans in a trade with Atlanta in March 2007.
