Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, said Tuesday he's "seriously thinking" about running for a sixth term in 2016.

"I'm seriously thinking about maybe giving another opportunity for you to vote for or against me in a few years from now," McCain said on 550 KFYI in Phoenix. "I'm seriously giving that a lot of thought."

The audio was posted online by The Washington Post, and McCain's office confirmed the Senator made the comments on Tuesday.

Last month, McCain said he was "probably" in his last term, but then clarified saying he'll wait a few years before "thinking about whether to seek reelection in 2016."

Re-elected to a fifth term in 2010, the senator and 2008 GOP presidential nominee has a while until he has to decide whether or not he'll run for another term. He'll be 80 years old by November 2016.

Arizona deserves him!

Arizona is better than that, at least they still know what it is to be an American and stand up for their citizens, Texas and the nation should take lessons from them.

Oh brother, he should run on the Democratic ticket.
