Medical Marijuana: Part 2

TEXAS—Over the past decade, using marijuana for medical purposes has gained attention from health experts.
Many argue that medical marijuana should not be part of the war against drugs. Advocates say although it is illegal, marijuana should be prescribed to cancer patients in need.
KETK's Lindsay Landry reports on where Texans stand on the issue.

It's ok for folks to drink and then drive home. HMMM! I have never heard of anyone killing people ferom driving after smoking a joint. It's time this country got real and made marijauna legal and tax it. It should be subsidized by the goverment for medical use. If the states taxed the sale of legal marijuana we could take care of a lot of this country's debt.

11 months agoI think marijuana should be prescribed for cancer patients,I personally dont use marijuana but I think it helps cancer patients not only with the pain, as we all know with cancer patients they tend to lose alot of weight and their appetite as well, I think it helps not only the pain their appetite as well.....I dont understand why these lawmakers sit here and say it will never happen, marijuana comes from the earth..It has been dated back for centuries....If they have never seen what a cancer patient goes through I suggest they go to a cancer center for a day and really see what these poor cancer patients go through...Evidentally they have never had a loved one go through anything like this....
