TYLER — A Memorial Day barbecue ends in flames for one Tyler family.
Tyler firefighters got the call around 1 Monday morning, that a home at 2200 Azalea Drive was on fire.
A neighbor heard a small explosion, then quickly ran to wake the family inside.
Officials say charcoal from a grill used during the day, was put in a garbage can next to the home and it reignited causing the flames to catch on the home.
There was minimal damage to the home and no one was injured.
