AS REPORTED IN THE LONGVIEW NEWS-JOURNAL:

East Texans will have a chance not to forget those who can no longer remember at the annual Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk this weekend.

Funds raised by the walk will help provide support to more than 57,000 North Texas and East Texas families dealing with Alzheimer's disease. It will help fund research to find disease altering drugs and ultimately a cure.

Longview Memory Walk:

When: Saturday morning (Registration at 9 a.m., walk begins at 10 a.m.)

Where: LeTourneau University, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave.

Cost: Free
