Michael Phelps Caught Smoking Weed

Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps was busted— smoking marijuana.
Phelps admitted smoking weed at a party in South Carolina, after a picture was released in a British newspaper this weekend.
In a statement released to the Associated Press, Phelps acknowledged quote "regrettable behavior" and "bad judgment."
The 23-year old won a record eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics this past Summer.
The Olympics sparked if you will- "Phelps Mania."
The man was idolized by many people.
Since the news of him doing drugs, he has said, he won't do it again.
Wow! What a tragic incident, that man was actually caught smoking pot!... Why do we have to make such a big case out of this? Michael is an adult, he knows what he's doing, this incident can ruin his career, it's his drama, not ours.

2 months agoOMG! Pot is not nearly as bad as steroids. All of these baseball players have been taking steroids for years. I can understand being upset over that. It would enhance their performance. Pot does not enhance his performance...if anything it would have slowed him down. Leave the guy alone. Most people in this country are smoking pot now. It's a different day and age now people. I think he should be able to keep his medals since it wasn't a performance enhancing drug.

10 months agoWow! Did it occur to anyone that the "Dope," he smoked had very little effect on his performance? He probably smoked pot prior to winning all those medals, and no one knew. Ignorance is bliss. Pot has never hurt anyone, and it never will.

He has got to be an idiot!!Dope is for Dummies..Some of the people you interviewed, that thought is was no big deal are idiots, too. Wake Up America...It is illegal and a health hazard and people want this type of person influencing our children?? I think not!!

10 months agoSince the other Athletes got their Gold Medal's taken away from doing other substances Michael Phelps should have all his Medal's taken away cause he is no better then the others
