Tyler, TX — A North Carolina man, James Verone, desperate for health care robbed a bank of $1 and then waited for police.

He did it so he could receive jail health care.

The jail doctor accuses him of manipulating the system. The 59-year-old says  "If it is called manipulation, then out of necessity because I need medical care then I guess I am manipulating the courts to get medical care."
