tyler — A radio ad surfaced today to write-in Governor Perry on the Iowa straw poll ballot.
The message touts Mr. Perry as a candidate with a proven track record of job creation. And the numbers back it.
In the past decade, Texas added a million jobs more than almost every other state combined.
Is the governor responsible, or is it just blind luck? Let us know!

Hey Don, since you like polls so much, have you seen today's? The Gallop poll has Obama's approval rating at an all time low: 40%, while 50% disapprove of the job he's doing. 41% approve of his handling of the debt crisis while 51% disapprove. And when it comes to independents according to the Pew Center, 54% disapprove and only 36% approve. Neither of these polls are conservative or Fox News. You might want to hold off on your election celebration plans.
Perry may be popular in Texas, but most Americans are not ready for another egotistical Texas cowboy as President.
It is a true statement that Texas added jobs during a time while national emloyment is in decline, it is also true that Texas' chief comodities, oil and gas tripled in value during this same period. Combine that fact with the advanced technology of horizontal drilling and the "new wealth generated" then, even Pee-Wee Herman would look like a job creator. Fact, Perry has done little to stop the EPA from "stealing" Texas' wealth for national redistribution under the ruse of environmental concerns.

The ratings for House Speaker John Boehner and congressional Republicans aren't any better than President Obama's ratings, and the GOP may struggle to hold the U.S. House in next year's elections.
idiots....only jobs created in Texas were seasonal minimum wage jobs that are not here now.
Don, I see a vacancy not yet filled; the one between your ears.
Yeah, and we could have created even more jobs if minimum wage was were it should be, instead of so over inflated like it is. If we could pay $2.00 an hour help $2.00 an hour, we could pay our $10.00 an hour people $10.00 an hour instead of minimum wage. Or am I expecting too much of you to understand that?
