Sunday, October 13, the "Million Vets March" is slated to take place.

The "Million Vets March" is going to be conducted at the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., and other Veterans' memorials across the United States.

Veterans from across the nation are set to begin marching around 9:00 a.m., EST.

According to the group's website, they do not care what political leanings you may have be it liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent or whatever. They say the actions of the U.S. government this week with regard to barricading and shutting down the World War II Memorial to veterans, that may or may not be on their last trip to Washington DC, is a despicable act of cowardice.

The "Million Vets March" released the following statement to KETK:

"Many in our group have decided that enough is enough. We are Americans. We are proud of our heritage and our service. As all of us were military brats and spouses, we have served in some form or another our entire lives. This is our way of life. We will not stand by and let the U.S. government dishonor the legacy of sacrifice of the generations before us. It is time to make a stand! We hope that you will join us in our peaceful rally against anti-American policies. It doesn’t take anything other that!"

The Texas rally will be held in Dallas on Sunday. If you wish to attend that rally, please RSVP here. The Louisiana location will be held at the USS KIDD & Veterans Memorial.

Spread the word and let's honor our brothers and sisters who fought to give each and every one of us the rights we so often take for granted.

Yep, obummer & crew are just as responsible, even more so because of their Un-American policies, complete disregard of state and federal laws and lack of responsibility towards American citizens. You can blame one side all you want to, but the last two presidents we have had have shown me one thing, neither party is for Americans, they both support everything but Americans, help everyone but Americans, would rather finance & rebuild other countries rather than take care of America.

I am sick of our 'government" is is nothing but a joke with a clown at the head, remember all the stink about the clown at the rodeo in Missouri, well America that clown is in the White House.

What an unbelievably powerful message this gathering will send to the do-nothing, obstructionist, un-American repubs/tea swillers who seem to care nothing about those who have sacrificed for our freedoms...may these proud men and women heap shame and disgust on those who would disrespect the service of these brave warriors by continuing to chisel away at their benefits...these veterans vote, and they have good memories, and they will remember who did this to them in the election cycles ahead.
